The MiTio Foundation is now offering two $1000.00 scholarships (one in June the other in December) to any bilingual student seeking a career in health care. The process and purpose is simple - many college students currently struggle to meet the financial requirements of pursuing their education, even with the help of financial aid and other scholarship programs.

Students must submit a 500 word essay explaining what language they speak and how they would use their bilingual skills for patient care. Essays are to be submitted via e-mail at discussions@mitio.org. The deadline to submit their essay is May 5, 2010 and
November 5, 2010.
