Delhi: Muslim students will get admissions in
Christian Institutions easily. Both communities
agreed that Muslims should be given preference in
Christian Institutions and Christian students should
be giving coaching for Civil Services in Muslim
Institutions.
The preference for Muslim
students could be in fixing percentage in Christian
Institutions. For this purpose it will be officially
appealed by All India Association of Christian
Higher Education & other groups to all education
institutions that they should give preference to
Muslim students. In addition to that both
communities are thinking to organize education
awareness programmes, workshops & all other these
type of activities. Christian community wants that
under Sachar Committee recommendations, if the
institutions will be opened, Christian Fathers &
Nuns should be given preference in jobs because this
community have a large number teachers.
Muslims & Christians very
small percentage in Civil Services. Coaching is
started in universities like Jamia Millia Islamia &
Jamia Hamdard and Zakar Foundation is also offering
coaching programmes for this. The President of Zakat
Foundation Dr. Zafar Mehmood says that "we are
giving coaching to Muslim students for Civil
Services. Muslim Community have offered Christian
Community that they should give preference to Muslim
students and we will give preference to Christian
students in coaching".
The President of All Indian
Association of Christian Higher Education Dr. Money
Jacob says that "We are taking this offer in
positive way. We will appeal to all Christian
Institutions that they will give preference to
Muslim students. For this purpose they may fix
