Manara Academy, Orissa is
in the process of establishing a new community
college at Cuttack-Bhubaneswar, Orissa under the
IGNOU-led Community College Scheme. The college
plans to offer Associate Degree/ Diploma Programs in
Microfinance and Enterprise Development (flagship
program with a component on Islamic Microfinance to
be offered in June 2010) as well as in various
technical fields.
It is looking for a dynamic and experienced
full-time Director to lead the college and qualified
Instructors in multiple areas of skill-improvement.
Priority areas for the technical-skill-improvement
programs for the college for the current session
are: (i) Heating, Ventilation and Airconditioning
Technology(ii) Dairy and Meat Technology (iii)
Leather Technology (iv) Organic Farming (v) Primary
School Teacher Training.
The technical courses are slated to be offered from
December 2010. Retired persons with experience in
Engg and Agri Colleges/Polytechnics/ Industrial
Schools may also apply. Salary is negotiable and
would reflect qualification and experience of the
candidate.
