Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi
has a scheme to provide financial assistance to
voluntary consumer organisations on
project/programme basis for following purposes:-
(a) Creating and
strengthening of promotion of Consumer Movement;
(b) Organising Consumer
Education Programmes by Education Programmes
by exhibitions, talks, film shows, demonstrations
etc.;
(c) To undertake/hold
workshops, seminars research and investigation into
consumer problems;
(d) To undertake testing
programmes regarding quality and quantity and
standardization of consumer products;
The total Grant-in-Aid is only
Rs. 5 Lacs to be distributed amongst successful
applications after scrutiny of their
projects/programmes by an Inter Departmental
Screening Committee headed by Director (Consumer
Affairs).
Desirous Voluntary
Organizations who are having a registered office at
Delhi or functioning in Delhi may apply to
